Message to clients

I have always been passionate about building relationships. We are continually surrounded by people and part of living in connection means learning how to form and sustain a healthy relationship with yourself and others. As a marriage and family therapist, I have been trained to understand the complexities of relationships and relationship systems. Through my training, I have developed the ability to take an extensive look at factors such as family of origin, generational trauma, environmental and external circumstances that have influenced how we interact with others. I am able to provide insight about how our brain and body work together and provide insight into what happens when our brain and/or body experiences stress/chronic stress, trauma, anxiety, and other common mental health disorders whether that be from one experience or multiple experiences in a way that is personalized to your specific life circumstances.

Peer review

Alaina is kind and thoughtful and insightful as a therapist. She can listen to clients and repeat back what she understands they're trying to say. From that, Alaina is great at helping them communicate needs and understand changes they need to make if that's an appropriate path forward.
