About
Alexandra Lochan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating burnout, past trauma, relationship challenges, and women’s health concerns. She believes therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and grounded in genuine connection.
Alexandra works with adults who may still feel the impact of childhood stress or trauma in their present-day lives—especially in their relationships with themselves and others. She also supports clients experiencing burnout, overwhelm, and life transitions. In addition, she has a special interest in women’s health, including fertility journeys, menopause, hormone health, and questions around identity and personal growth.
Her approach to therapy is relational, warm, and individualized. Alexandra integrates several evidence-based approaches including Brainspotting (Level 1), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. These approaches can help clients better understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and build practical tools for healing and change.
Before entering private practice, Alexandra worked as an anti-trafficking advocate both in the United States and internationally, and as a social worker in the school system. These experiences inform her trauma-informed perspective and her commitment to advocating for the wellbeing of her clients.
Alexandra received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019.
In sessions, you might find her with a warm drink nearby and a cozy blanket—creating a therapy space that feels calm, welcoming, and comfortable.
