About Briana | She/her

Briana specializes in helping LGBTQ adults who are ready to heal trauma so they can get good at relationships and make work suck less. She has over a decade of experience as a therapist working at almost every level of care from intensive residential therapy to telehealth outpatient therapy. She loves puns, and is terrible at pop culture. Blending EMDR and parts work (IFS), she will get down to the root of past trauma and elicit your innate ability to heal. You can have the relationships you want without unhealthy old patterns holding you back and a work life you don't hate. She is dually licensed as a licensed professional counselor and licensed addiction counselor. Her approach is LGBTQ-centered, neurodiversity-affirming, fat-positive, and poly-friendly.

Message to clients

Listen, work sucks. You want to finally feel good at relationships. You know it's time to do some EMDR for your painful past. You need a safe place to heal as an LGBTQ person and manage stress and anxiety. Maybe you met someone great, but don't want to fall into the same relationship patterns as before. Maybe you wonder if this is the job for you and you feel like you need to hit some sort of "reset" button. You're ready to get down to the root of what's going on and invest in feeling better. It's time. Just take a minute and imagine yourself feeling productive and confident at work, in a relationship that works for you and brings you joy, and not having to worry about what you're missing because of past trauma. You can breathe. You feel hopeful and able to navigate the ups and downs life throws at you, even if it's not always easy. Life is sustainable. With me there's online therapy you never have to commute for (hello, comfy pants!), and a style that includes cursing, crying, and even some laughter.
