About Brianna | She/her

Brianna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in betrayal trauma, perinatal and postpartum issues, and trauma across the lifespan. Brianna believes that unprocessed trauma has a way of showing up in the present and leads to issues such as anxiety and depression. By using Lifespan Integration, a gentle body-based modality, Brianna helps her clients ground into the safety that is here in the present, increasing her client's ability to feel more confident in themselves and empowered to make the changes they've been hoping to make. Brianna has a passion for working with new moms who are experiencing anxiety or depression and believes that new moms really do better when they have a space to feel supported and cared for. Brianna has also received a specialized training from Postpartum Support International to further her knowledge in this area. Brianna is also an associate sex addiction therapist trained by IITAP to help support clients who are struggling with their partner's sexually compulsive behavior or infidelity. Bri is passionate about the treatment of trauma and believes that addiction, anxiety and depression are all symptoms of unresolved trauma. She is fully trained in Lifespan Integration for the treatment of trauma.

Message to clients

Hi, I am Bri Leavitt. I am proud of you for taking the first step into finding a therapist that is a good fit for you by making this search. If you have been struggling with anxiety after the recent discovery of a secret in your relationship, experiencing depression or anxious thoughts after giving birth to a new child, or you have experienced events in your life that seem to continue to have an effect on your functioning today, I may be the therapist for you! As a therapist who is trained in the treatment of trauma, I really want to witness you make changes in your life and begin to feel a shift within yourself throughout our work together. Many of my clients have stated in the past that their therapist has just nodded their head and validated their experience, and while this is absolutely important in the therapeutic space, just talking about our experiences will not usually lead to a felt sense of a shift within you. I am trained in helping you to create change and experience it in your life by using Lifespan Integration. I am looking forward to speaking with you about beginning your therapy process!
