Callie Millington is a psychotherapist who supports individuals and couples to deepen their relationships—with self, others, and the wider world. Callie trained as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Loyola University New Orleans where she focused on couples and family work and the impacts of intergenerational and developmental trauma on relationships. Callie is licensed as an LPCC in California, an LPC in Louisiana and Montana, and an LMHC in Massachusetts. In addition to Callie’s focus on developmental trauma, her experience includes working with the LGBTQ+ community and adults looking to build creative and alternative lifestyles. Before becoming a therapist, Callie worked as a professional musician, educator, and outdoor trip leader. Callie is trained in Buddhist Psychology through Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
Relationships are hard. So many of us want a deeper connection with our partners, with our families, with ourselves. Maybe you find yourself in familiar conflicts with your partner that mirror some of the most painful dynamics from your family of origin; maybe you feel overwhelmed at times by your own or your partner's emotional volatility; or perhaps you struggle to relax into a sense of connection with yourself and the world. I can help. I work with individuals and couples experiencing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, with a particular focus on the impacts of developmental and intergenerational trauma on our relationships. In the container of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, we will build awareness of your process—physical, mental, emotional, and interpersonal—as it unfolds both in and out of session. This combination of connection and awareness, over time, can transform the way you relate to yourself, to others, and to the wider world. Together, we will support you to reconnect with the part of you that knows - that has always known - what it is to be deeply connected. I work from an interpersonal, attachment-based, and family systems lens, informed by body awareness and mindfulness practices. I incorporate IFS and trauma-informed modalities to support clients to navigate challenging emotional states with compassion and intention.

Callie balances deep rigor with loving relatedness. She is responsible, open, and reverent in the container she hold for her clients.
Therapists who bring as much integrity to their work as Callie are rare. Callie embodies all the qualities that I believe make a therapist exceptional: a great depth of experience, an exquisitely discerning and open mind, true kindness and compassion, a playful and loving spirit, and a profound sense of ethics and responsibility. I trust her without reservations and could not recommend her more.
Callie is a phenomenal clinician. She is brilliant at assessing relational dynamics, family of origin patterns, and socio-cultural histories that impact and impair our relational functioning. Callie is also patient and kind in her clinical approach and able to guide clients through the challenging process of meaningful growth.
