About Calvin | He/him

As someone who was part of an immigrant family, Calvin has experienced the struggles of adjusting and integrating into a new culture, learning to adapt to frequently changing circumstances, and finding belonging. Not only have these experiences helped him build resilience, but they have also allowed him to relate to and journey with others. Calvin is licensed as a RP (Qualifying) with the CRPO and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Master of Divinity. Calvin's expertise includes working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, or having a hard time handling pressures from school, work, and relationships. He helps people understand the impact of adverse childhood experiences, such as abuse, neglect, or instability, on their life and their relationships. As an ordained Christian minister, He also offers faith-integrated counselling from a Christian perspective.

Message to clients

Being human is HARD. You are not alone, there is hope! Whether you're navigating stress, uncertainty, relational struggles, or just the ups and downs of everyday life, seeking support can be an empowering step forward. Therapy can provide the opportunity to help break us out of patterns that aren’t serving us anymore and get us to a place where we can have more peace, balance, and relief. Therapy with me is about genuine connection and collaboration. We will talk through your goals and walk together towards a path to wellness, healing, and wholistic transformation. I work with individuals, couples, and families! For those who wish to integrate spirituality into their journey, I also offer Christian counselling. Therapy can provide a safe and supporting space to share your story and struggles without the fear of judgement. I offer a free phone consultation prior to scheduling your first session so that I can answer any questions you may have. Reaching out for support is a courageous step and I look forward to connecting with you!
