About
Carolyn specializes in supporting high achieving adult individuals struggling with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, low self-esteem, self-sabotage, and people-pleasing. She has also been trained to offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and metabolic health coaching. Carolyn has a strong interest in optimizing health holistically, and so she often pulls from modalities that integrate mind, body, and spirit. Carolyn has worked in a variety of mental health settings - from inpatient to outpatient - including an intensive-outpatient attachment-based family therapy practice, an inpatient eating disorder hospital, and an inpatient adolescent behavioral health hospital. Carolyn then joined a health-tech startup, where she became a metabolic health coach helping her clients to implement and sustain difficult lifestyle changes in support of their physical and emotional wellness and metabolic healing. Carolyn spent the past few years as a staff therapist and behavioral health specialist at a virtual primary care startup, seeing clients and consulting with primary care providers and medical staff on clinical behavioral health issues. She opened her virtual private therapy and coaching practice in 2022, and transitioned into full-time private practice in mid-2025. Carolyn has pursued post-graduate continuing education and training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Tapping), Polyvagal Theory based nervous system regulation interventions including the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), somatic therapy, spiritual and energy healing practices, and evidence-based coaching psychology. Carolyn is currently pursuing a year-long shamanic healing practitioner training and certification course with Julie Kramer at The Ennobling of the Heart (Sept 2025 - Sept 2026).

Message to clients
If you have a strong drive to succeed and achieve, but you feel like it's never enough and your emotional world is chaotic...you're in the right place. Maybe you've accumulated impressive accomplishments and earned a lot of respect, but you feel crushing pressure to keep delivering, to exceed expectations, to do it all, and to do it all perfectly. Maybe your biggest dreams have yet to come to fruition so you keep hustling, but you feel exhausted, disconnected, rundown, overwhelmed, burned out (or fried crispy), and you're starting to wonder if you even want what you're striving for anymore. Maybe you're someone who cares deeply and thoroughly for other people, who works hard to please them, but chronically neglects your own needs, preferences, desires, and goals. Or maybe you're simply your own worst critic. I get it, because I’ve worked with people just like you for over a decade. You don’t need generic “positive thinking” or endless venting sessions. You need a space where you can gain awareness and insights and transformation - a space that facilitates deep healing. In our work together, we’ll move beyond coping and actually rewire the patterns keeping you stuck. You’ll learn to trust, honor, and know yourself. If you’re ready for therapy that’s direct, insightful, and deeply respectful of your time and intelligence, let’s talk. Send me a message - I’d be honored to walk this next part with you.

As a fellow clinician, I highly recommend working with Carolyn. She brings a rare depth and integrative approach that helps clients move from feeling depleted and stuck to feeling grounded, empowered, and confident in themselves and their choices.
