Clayre Sessoms is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with a relational, experiential, and creative approach to therapy. As a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist and Senior Facilitator of Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), Clayre specializes in supporting clients with trauma, attachment wounds, and emotional dysregulation. With over a decade of clinical experience, Clayre integrates evidence-based practices like Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, TIST, and art therapy into compassionate, affirming care for adults across Canada. A proud queer, trans woman with lived experience, Clayre provides an inclusive and trauma-informed space that honours diverse identities and life experiences. Her expertise extends to working with trans and queer individuals, neurodivergent adults, and those navigating life transitions, anxiety, grief, and complex trauma. Beyond therapy, Clayre advocates for accessible mental health care and is deeply involved in community initiatives, including low-barrier therapy programs and free online art hives.
