Dr. Cobb is a licensed psychologist who works with people struggling with depression and related difficult life situations. As someone who has considerable experience with depression, Dr. Cobb understands firsthand how it feels to be stuck in life. People with depression and other disorders like anxiety often have hopeless views of themselves, of those around them, and of their futures. Dr. Cobb understands these struggles and strives to meet clients where they are unconditionally. His primary objective in therapy is to provide a space where clients can work collaboratively toward reaching important life goals. Dr. Cobb uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to teach clients important problem-solving skills that they can use to reduce and manage their symptoms while preventing future relapse. CBT is a frontline treatment for depression and many other psychological challenges.
Are you struggling with depression? Maybe you are in a life situation that has you feeling stuck? I am here to help you work through your current life challenges that have placed significant stress on your life. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is to see clients improve their life situations and move toward a fulfilling, value-based life. This will be my goal for you. In our first session together, we will get to know one another and discuss the mental health or life challenges you are facing. During this time, we will discuss my approach to therapy, what to expect, and answer any questions that you might have. We will also work together to identify important goals you want to achieve. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Cory is a top notch colleague. I have been most impressed by his dedication to communities and each of the people within them. He has dedicated his faculty career to improving care and access to care for all but particularly minorities and underserved communities. This dedication speaks volumes to what he can bring to the therapy relationship.
Cory is amazing! He is very empathetic and authentic. He really helps people to get to the root of their issues. He's effective and really gets results for people.
