Dana is a licensed psychologist in Colorado and PSYPACT approved telehealth provider for several other states. She uses a relational psychodynamic approach to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how they operate in the world and in their relationships. She often sees clients who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, life transitions, low self-esteem, expressing emotions, imposter syndrome, and relational concerns. She specializes in working with BIPOC and people-pleasers.
Relationships are crucial to understanding yourself. In our sessions, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns, exploring how past experiences shape your present relationships and sense of self. Together, we'll uncover unconscious patterns, untangle emotional blocks, and build insight into your inner world.

Dr. Santiago possesses a powerful gift as a psychologist that helps the client move toward healing. I identify that gift as her ability to help clients form corrective relational experiences inside and outside the therapy space. I have witnessed her mutually create a therapy space with her clients that assists them with knowing what connections they hope to foster with others. In other words, she knows how to help clients form meaningful relationships that improve their overall functioning in society.
I have consulted with Dana for years and continue to be impressed with the depth of her insight. She often sees things that others do not which is an incredible asset to clients who are unsure why they are feeling stuck. As a person she is incredibly compassionate, loyal, and playful, characteristics that enliven her therapy work.
Dr. Santiago works hard to create and maintain safety for people looking to do this work. She is authentic and effectively uses the therapy relationship and other interventions to help people move toward healing. She helps people develop insight about themselves and how they functioning relationships in the world and assists clients in trying new ways of relating to others that cause less distress.
