About
Dani is a queer therapist dedicated to trauma healing of queer folx. She has over fifteen years of clinical experience working with people of varying races, gender identities, relationship structures, and neuropresentations. As an eclectic provider, she's passionate about weaving together strategies across therapy styles to suit the unique trauma healing needs of individual in front of her. She frequently pulls from "bottom up" therapy styles like Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic styles like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as traditional "top down" talk therapy styles like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy. She also brings a heavy social justice lens to the work, regularly calling out the impact of systems and bigotry in sessions, so clients don't blame themselves for what capitalism, white supremacy, or the patriarchy produces.

Are you here because trauma holds you back from being your best? Do triggers lead to tension with partners and friends? Are you exhausted from flashbacks and nightmares that steal your rest? Do you distrust everyone, even yourself? If so, you're in the right place. Look, no doubt you've been through it; and you can still heal. You just need the right therapist to guide your journey; one who can take you from bruised-yet-breathing to the queer baddie you've always been destined to be! That's where I come in. For over 10 years, I’ve helped queer folx heal, so they can put the past behind them and become their best, baddie selves. So what's next? First, book an intro call with me. If I pass your vibe check, we'll book a session. From there: you'll talk, I'll listen and use modern trauma treatments like EMDR, DBT, and IFS to help you heal. I'll use my expertise to guide the journey, but you'll set the pace. Together, we'll work to heal your trauma in a way that’s gentle, yet effective. So how about it, are you ready for your queer baddie era? The one where trauma doesn't hold you back? If so, I'd be honored to be your guide. I'll listen without judgment, bring my sense of humor, succession of wild hair colors, and over a decade of experience. If you're in, I'm in. Book your intro call today to get to the queer baddie life you deserve!

Dani provides a nurturing and comforting space where all folx are welcome. Because of her relational approach, she's able to attune to you quickly and create an environment where you feel seen and safe. She's extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled to work with a range of issues, from daily anxiety to complex trauma.

What a gem! I’ve had the pleasure of working professionally alongside Dani since 2018. First at a mental health organization and later at a peer consult group. Dani is wickedly smart, warm and just gets it. She is incredibly thoughtful when she speaks. A careless word rarely leaves her lips. One of my favorite parts of being in consultation group with her was to see how her mind can absorb, process and interpret very complex clinical situations. On top of her skills as a clinician, she is ethically minded and politically/ socially attuned to this current time. I couldn’t recommend Dani more. I seriously wish she was my therapist.
