Daryn develops thoughtful, personalized, manageable strategies designed to offer hope in dealing with feelings of intense hopelessness and sadness for depressed clients. For Couples Counseling, Daryn's evidence-based, practical techniques teaches couples how to support one another and work together as partners, with an emphasis on better communicating by reminding them they are on the same team. Message to clients
My name is Daryn Friedman. I am a LCSW and life coach with an advanced degree in applied behavior analysis, with many years of experience. I work and live in New York City. I use a skills based behavioral approach. My expertise is in implementing well thought out, detailed, customized, evidence-based, behavioral interventions with individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families. It is a practical, common sense approach that is results based, evidence-based, and action-oriented. I provide family training to reinforce the work with the client and to ensure continued, lasting success. In my view, a person who has dealt with his own personal struggles ends up making the best therapist. I've had my share of struggles (had a stutter, learning disability, ADHD, social anxiety, self-esteem issues, depression) , but I overcame them. This has made me a better, stronger, empathetic, and caring person. Now, coming out the other side, stronger and wiser, I want to take what I've learned, the knowledge I've gained, and help other people... you know - pay it forward. I am confident that I possess strong interpersonal skills, compassion, empathy, patience, and the desire to help others. I strongly believe in treating the person and giving the family tools to handle individual situations more effectively to bring peace and harmony to the home. I want you to be successful and happy in life. Check my website for in home Concierge Services in my area. For a free video consultation, call or email (917) 250-9244 | conciergetherapies@gmail.com

Daryn is a compassionate and extraordinarily qualified clinician. His skills range from the use of cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and relationship problems to the use of applied behavior analysis for ADHD, defiant behavior, and autism.

Daryn’s life experiences, dedication and persistence to understanding himself and his patients have shaped him to be an extremely compassionate and insightful therapist. Daryn is one of the most sincere and patient human beings I know. He can be gentle and guide patients to live more fulfilling lives while teaching them essential skills to be effective with dealing with life’s myriad of stressors. Daryn loves to learn and pushes himself to advance in the field. I would not hesitate to refer him to my own family members if such a need ever arose.
