Message to clients
As a therapist, I want you to know something important right from the start: I’m my own first client. I’m a student of life, constantly learning, healing, stumbling, and growing—not just as a clinician, but as a human. I don’t see myself as separate from you or above you in any way. I experience the full spectrum of the human experience, and it’s from this place of honesty and compassion toward myself that I offer genuine empathy to the people I work with.
One of the most profound things I’ve discovered in this work is how deeply connected we all are. There hasn’t been a single story, intrusive thought, “embarrassing” confession, or guilt-filled moment that I haven’t personally related to in some way. My clients often fear that what they’re sharing is “too much” or “too strange,” and all I want is for them to feel seen and validated—because I’ve either heard it before or felt it before. You are not alone in your inner world.
In our work together, we gently uncover your essence through the challenges you face, remembering the interconnectedness that exists beneath all the noise. I believe it is my responsibility—and my honor—to continually do my own inner work so I can show up with clarity, presence, and authenticity.
As a queer therapist, I especially love supporting other queer folks or those exploring their sexuality. Whatever your race, gender, or background, you are welcome here. You belong here.
