About Elizabeth | She/her

Elizabeth is a holistic therapist based in Oakland, CA. She specializes in breakups & divorce, dating, anxiety, and relationship issues. She began her career in video production, filming and editing profiles for nonprofits and businesses. The piece of this work she enjoyed the most was the process of interviewing people and listening to their stories. This is one of the many reasons she was drawn to the field of therapy. She became a peer counselor and then returned to school full time to pursue her degree in counseling. She worked at Heart in Balance Counseling Center before joining The Center for Mindful Psychotherapy. She is passionate about the work she gets to do with her clients and being a lifelong learner.

Message to clients

Does this sound like you? -Feeling heartbroken and lost after a breakup -Fearful or fatigued when it comes to dating -Anxiety is affecting your relationship -Disconnected from each other and unable to communicate If so, you’re in the right place. Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I can help you through the challenges of losing, seeking, or navigating romantic partnership.    In therapy with me, you can expect to feel seen, heard, and deeply understood in what you’re going through. In sessions, I’ll listen with care, ask questions, and lead you into deeper inquiry. Together, we’ll practice tools that will help you find relief in daily life. And over time, we’ll tend to the roots of the issue, which is ultimately what sets new growth in motion. The approaches I use respect the mind while also inviting the intelligence of your body and your heart. It might be hard to believe right now, but I’ve seen that painful dating and relationship experiences can be transformative. They can become doorways to powerful healing, learning, and guidance for fulfilling connection in the future. But you don’t have to go it alone. I get it from the inside out because my own lived experience has taken me to these places. And in turn, it’s given me a fierce heart for the clients I work with. I’d be honored to walk with you on the road ahead. Contact me to book a free consultation.

Peer review

Elizabeth provides a very grounded, calm and insightful presence to her clients. In this space, she uses her maturity, her mindfulness practice and all of the therapy tools she has gained over her years of training to understand her clients, and to help them in their healing journey. While I supervised her, I came to fully trust her abilities and clinical approach with all the clients she carried under my license, and always knew she would work ethically and compassionately.
