Emily is a compassionate and experienced art therapist, expressive arts educator, and licensed mental health counselor dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with themselves through embodiment and wholeness. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she guides children and adults in integrating mind, body, and emotions to foster deep healing and personal transformation. Specializing in trauma, chronic pain, grief and loss, spirituality, life transitions, and child mental health, Emily’s approach blends expressive arts, somatic awareness, breath-work, and mindfulness with traditional psychotherapy. She helps clients develop inner resilience, process difficult emotions, and cultivate a sense of balance and authenticity in their lives. In addition to her clinical work, Emily runs an online arts school for creative embodiment education, offering courses that integrate art, movement, and mindfulness as tools for self-discovery and emotional healing. She also leads a visual journaling group, and provides workshops and professional training on the therapeutic power of embodied creativity. Licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey, Emily is a registered art therapist and an member of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA). She is passionate about making holistic healing accessible and believes that true wellness comes from embracing the full spectrum of one’s experiences—mind, body, and spirit.
I believe that within you lies the wisdom and capacity to heal, grow, and navigate whatever challenges you’re facing. My role as a therapist is not to give you quick fixes but to support you in reconnecting with your own inner knowing. I offer a deeply present and attuned space, listening to you in many ways—through words, emotions, the body, and creative expression. Therapy is a space where you are held, seen, and respected, and I work to ensure that your healing unfolds at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system. Together, we will build personalized tools to help you feel more grounded, resourced, and connected. Through this work, I’ve witnessed people make transformational changes—uncovering patterns that kept them stuck, deepening their sense of self, and finding more joy in their lives and relationships. Your mind-body-spirit knows the pathway to healing. My role is to create a space where your system can naturally return to balance—where you can move toward greater ease, clarity, and wholeness. I would be honored to support you on your journey.
