About Halle | She/They

Halle Thomas (she/they) is an LPC who specializes in working with anxious millennial professionals. Clients who work with Halle often come to her because they find themselves overworking as a way to prove themselves, playing it small at work so they don't ruffle any feathers, and experiencing guilt when they try to focus on their personal lives. Because Halle knows how many millennial professionals try to muscle their way through anxiety, she approaches anxiety from the inside out. First, by working with the body's anxiety responses, then by addressing how anxiety shows up in the mind. Halle also knows that talking about anxiety isn't the same as processing anxiety, which is why they offer Brainspotting therapy. Brainspotting is a method that allows for clients to process their anxiety without the added pressure to talk their way through it. Clients who engage in Brainspotting often notice shifts in their anxiety that traditional talk therapy hasn't been able to provide for them.

Message to clients

I love working with anxious millennials like you because I used to be like you! If I had to guess, one of the following scenarios has come up for you in the past week: working 1 or more hours beyond the time you said you'd wrap up, feeling like you have to be on-call even though that's not part of your job, checking your email or Slack messages every 30 seconds up until the moment you go to sleep, saying "no" to happy hour with friends or a date with your partner because you feel like you should be working instead. You are so much more than your work. I know you feel like you have to hustle and grind, but it's hurting you and your relationships. Work with me and I'll show you how to bring your anxiety down so you can excel in your work while also saying "yes" to a phone-free weekend away with your partner, or a last-minute dinner with your friends.

Halle is an experienced professional whose foundation is ethically and morally sound. In my work with her, she has been supportive, kind, and full of resources. I believe she would be an asset to any team because of her diligent and hardworking nature. Most importantly, her empathetic and supportive demeanor transcends professionally as a colleague and I am sure it does in her clinical work with clients.
