Message to clients

If you have struggled with emotion regulation, trauma symptoms, and relationships and have found traditional talk therapy has not given you the results you were looking for keep reading. I provide you with concrete skills and structure in sessions to help you work on the issues where you have felt most stuck. My approach is collaborative, warm, and direct. I am participatory and you can expect 1) the conversation during therapy to be balanced, 2) to come away from your session time with actionable steps to work on, and 3) that I will be genuine and assertive with you. My passion is to help people get to a place where they are empowered by their emotions rather than afraid of them.

Peer review

Dr. Marshall is a talented, compassionate, and highly-skilled clinician. She prioritizes evidence-based techniques and applies them gently but firmly. She is someone who truly loves this work and has the emotional capacity to work with the so-called "difficult" cases so many clinicians would be intimidated by. With Dr. Marshall, you will undoubtedly experience tremendous growth.
