It can be challenging to ask for help at times but in the end, you are the one suffering if you don't have any support. The counseling relationship can be that support you need. In our sessions, I try to create a safe and welcoming environment free from judgements. I will allow you the space to share where you have been and where you would like to go. Together we will determine the methods we use in counseling to help you get there depending on your needs and concerns. In my past clinical experiences, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including outpatient community care, long-term residential, short-term residential for addiction, and with active duty on a military base. I am proud and grateful to have worked with so many different individuals ranging in ages, backgrounds, and presenting concerns. Each individual that I have worked with has helped to shape me as a provider. My approach is eclectic, meaning that I combine and pull from many different counseling approaches. I may utilize techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, someone presenting with mood changes may respond better to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). In cases of trauma, I may utilize CBT, DBT, Relational, and Narrative. Often times Motivational-Interviewing skills and Harm Reduction may be helpful with addiction. In the end, both of us will decide on the methods that we utilize to work to work toward the goals you have created. Jacqueline sees clients in person in Julien, California.
I am looking forward to meeting you to learn more about who you are, your strengths, your goals, and areas you would like to modify. I am open to questions so that you can learn more about me and my counseling style to ensure that we will be a good fit working together.

Jacqueline is insightful, intentional when approaching a therapeutic alliance. You will feel understood, you will be challenged in a way that will help with significant insight. She is passionate about her role as a "healer" and it shows through her commitment and gentle approach. She's on your team.
I would hire Jacqueline if we needed a therapist. She is a great referral source as she connects well with many populations. She is great with boundaries and puts her client's needs in perspective. Any company would benefit from having her on their team.
Jackie is a hard working, diligent clinician with a good head on her shoulders. She has a passion for helping others and it shows. She would be a great asset and I have faith in her ability to provide a safe, nurturing environment for clients to grow and heal.
