Message to clients
We often don’t choose our environments or our life experiences. Consciously or unconsciously, they create impressions on our mind, body, and spirit which shape our beliefs, behaviors, and thought patterns- these sometimes look like mental health challenges. We can choose to grow in ways that better align with you, while attenuating impressions that no longer serve your well-being. I share a space of deep compassion, genuine connection, and active engagement as a therapist. My knowledge and wisdom aid me as your guide and anchor. Authentic and safe connection is the working space for transformative change because when we feel held, we are at our most open state. You are not just one client in a sea of many to me. You are an important part of my community.

Georgie Kelly, LPCC
Jaya is an amazing human being, and beyond that a fantastic therapist. She has a knack for finding deep insights when someone is talking with her, and she shares those insights with empathy and compassion. Jaya is truly an anti-oppression, decolonizing therapist, and she is so dedicated to those values and actions both within and outside the therapy room. I personally know Jaya to be extremely trustworthy, and she constantly reminds me to live with self-compassion as a practice, rather than a concept to leave on the shelf.
Anjou Parekh, LPCC
Jaya is compassionate, intelligent, and committed to social justice. Jaya is an excellent listener with the right balance of intuition and analytical observation, which helps her to support clients in their needs and meet them where they are.
