Jonathan Monteverdi is a trained psychotherapist with a practice in Westlake Village, CA. He was raised in the Inland Empire and entered into his own work over 6 years ago. It was a demanding yet transformational experience for him and he decided to become someone who can confidently help others through the process as well. He graduated with his Master's in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical Social Work from Azusa Pacific University in 2020 and became a licensed psychotherapist in 2023 after working with the County of Ventura Adult Population for 3 years in various capacities. Additionally, he has had formal training in various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Complex Trauma, Deceptive Sexuality Trauma Treatment, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy just to name a few. Throughout his years of practice, he has been supporting individuals, couples, groups, and families in various capacities.
The process of therapy can look like so many different things for so many different people. It also is done in so many different ways as well. I aim to ease that process for clients by going at their pace and practicing what client-centered care looks like. If you are looking for a change in improving your mental health or increasing relationship or self-satisfaction, and don't really know where to start, or how, then I am the right fit for you. Turning toward pain is difficult, but I am alongside with you willing to aid in the process.
