Mr. Josh Levine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and he received his Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work. He has extensive experience working in adult psychiatry settings, where he spent 7-years working at NYC Health & Hospitals – Woodhull Medical Center and the Bronx VA Hospital inpatient psychiatry units. At the Bronx VA, Mr. Levine and his former colleague Dr. Leo Sher published several research articles, including a textbook chapter, on suicide prevention related issues. For the past 4.5-years, Mr. Levine has served as the suicide prevention program coordinator at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. He also has a private practice where he sees patients located in the New York and New Jersey areas.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with experience treating depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, trauma- and stress-related concerns, substance use, and perfectionism. My style is warm, affirming, and client-centered. I earned my degree from Columbia University and currently serve as a program coordinator at a major NYC hospital.
