Julie Goldberg is a licensed therapist and the founder of Third Nature Therapy. Her practice focuses on helping individuals better understand their inner world, befriend their nervous system (instead of working against it), and navigate changing relationships. She offers somatic therapy, EMDR intensives, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy in Brooklyn, NY.
Your feelings of hopelessness, grief, loss, loneliness, depression—they are all normal responses to an abnormal world. I specialize in helping people build a better relationship with themselves, and their nervous systems to heal from trauma and create a life they love. As someone who has been on a spiritual journey since I was 15, I integrate both Eastern and Western philosophies into therapy sessions and offer a truly holistic approach to healing. I view my work as a therapist as part of a larger collective, working to heal individual and intergenerational trauma to help heal the world.

Julie is a highly-skilled therapist with training in a number of modalities that go beyond talk therapy to get to the core of clients' issues. She is insightful, kind, and authentic. She is also deep and caring, which also being irreverent and funny. I highly recommend Julie.
I have known and worked with Julie Goldberg for over 8 years and always trust her trauma-informed clinical skills with referrals and case consultation. Julie is a perennial student and is always looking for new training and opportunities to sharpen her clinical skills. I see that she holds herself to a high standard and only offers the most cutting-edge approaches to understanding the nervous system (regularly referencing Polyvagal Theory) and trauma. Julie isn't just all evidence-based skills, though; she's warm, empathic, patient, and funny, too!
Julie is a thoughtful and caring therapist. She will skillfully guide you to have a stronger connection with your body and intuition. Her embodied and straightforward style can guide you to a sense of empowerment and ability to care for yourself better.
