About Karen | She/her

Welcome to a space where the journey through pregnancy and postpartum is met with compassion and understanding. As a perinatal therapist and LCSW, Karen is dedicated to walking alongside individuals during this transformative time, providing support that acknowledges the unique joys and challenges they face. Whether someone is navigating fertility issues, adjusting to the demands of new motherhood, or seeking a safe haven to express their feelings, her approach is tailored to honor each person's individual needs and experiences. You do not have to go through this alone—together, the journey can be made a bit lighter and brighter. Karen specializes in addressing fertility challenges, pregnancy, and postpartum issues, holding a PMH-C certification. Her experience includes supporting individuals through infertility, perinatal anxiety, depression, rage, difficulty transitioning into parenthood, and grief or loss. Additionally, she has extensive NICU experience, assisting parents through trauma, medically complex diagnoses, and loss. The perinatal journey can be both transformative and emotionally tumultuous. As both a therapist and a mother of two, Karen's goal is to provide an emotionally safe environment where experiences are not only heard but also deeply validated. By navigating this journey together, she aims to foster healing and offer unwavering support every step of the way.

Message to clients

The path to parenthood shifts your focus, and in doing so your own needs are oftentimes neglected. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself with a therapy approach that is rooted in empathy, warmth, and unconditional positive regard. I'm here to support your journey towards resilience and work together to find yourself again.
