About Kelly | She/her

Kelly Lafferman is a relational and systems therapist who believes that well-being is deeply connected to the quality of our relationships—with partners, family, friends, and ourselves. She works with individuals and couples, helping clients identify patterns, improve communication, and develop emotional awareness to create healthier, more fulfilling connections. Her approach is direct yet compassionate, offering a safe space for exploration while encouraging meaningful growth and change. Kelly also brings a unique perspective from her dual career, combining over 30 years as a marketing and communications executive with her work as a therapist. As a therapist, she has experience in nonprofit and private practice counseling settings. As a mother and part of a blended family, she understands the realities of family dynamics, change, and resilience. Balancing warmth with honest reflection, Kelly supports individuals and couples through relationship struggles, life transitions, and self-discovery, helping them move forward in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

Message to clients

I provide therapy for adults, couples, business partners/teams in a warm, relaxed space. I believe we all have the ability to create meaningful change, and I’m here to help you with no judgment. If you're looking for a person-centered therapist to provide support, help change negative patterns, and focus on your wellbeing, I offer a connected, growth-focused approach. Together, we will identify and activate your autonomy. I will be actively engaged in your care. My background as both a business professional and therapist provides a unique perspective, helping clients work through personal and/or professional challenges. I'm a strength-based therapist with an integrated approach. I pay close attention to fundamentals, like sleep, nutrition, movement and self-care. I believe self-awareness and connecting to feelings are imperative to the therapeutic process. I tailor our relationship to your needs, not mine. I work with you so it feels like a team approach. I am here to help you. I will listen deeply and provide thoughtful care. I am a relational therapist who focuses on our rapport. In time, you will come to recognize your own strengths and make the changes you seek. I believe this because I see it happen every day with people just like you. I am here to help you grow and recognize your own autonomy.
