About
Laura Rojas is a Licensed Profession Counselor who prioritizes compassion and developing a supportive space for individuals seeking healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. Laura believes that while past experiences shape us, they do not define us. Her work focuses on helping clients reconnect with their sense of agency, challenge negative cognitions, and move toward a more intentional and an empowered life. Laura takes a person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic approach, emphasizing emotional awareness, mindfulness, and accountability. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults navigating complex trauma, anxiety-related disorders, family of origin concerns, and generational trauma. Laura is EMDR-trained and has received training in Brainspotting (Phase 1 and Phase 2), integrating these modalities to support deeper processing and long-term healing.

If you’re here, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by experiences that are hard to name or let go of. Maybe anxiety feels constant, old family patterns keep resurfacing, or you find yourself questioning your worth and place in the world. If any of this resonates, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I work with teens and adults who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from trauma, and create meaningful change in their lives. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that your experiences make sense in the context of what you’ve lived through. Together, we’ll explore patterns, process unresolved experiences, and build tools that support emotional regulation, self-trust, and resilience. Therapy with me is not about rushing or “fixing” you—it’s about creating a safe space where you can show up as you are and move forward at a pace that feels right. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and that’s okay. My goal is to offer a space that feels grounded, supportive, and human. If you’re looking for a therapist who values understanding, depth, and empowerment, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
