About
Lea Darido, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana with over 10 years of experience supporting adults, couples, and families. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Lebanese University and is bilingual in Arabic and English. Lea’s passion for this work began while supporting vulnerable children in orphanages in underdeveloped countries. She witnessed how profoundly a child’s healing depended on the presence of safe, attuned adults. This experience shaped her conviction that real change starts with helping adults understand and heal their own attachment patterns so they can create secure relationships for themselves and the next generation. Her clinical approach is attachment-based and insight-oriented. She is Level 2 trained therapist in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) and currently getting trained in Level 3, a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, and has completed specialized training in the Adult Attachment Interview as well as a four-year intensive program in systemic, psychoanalytic, and integrative psychotherapy. Lea specializes in helping individuals, couples and families break repeating relational patterns, rebuild emotional connection, and navigate the unique challenges of foster care, adoption, and kinship parenting. She works with both in-person clients in the greater Indianapolis area and online across Indiana. Warm, attuned, and deeply relational, Lea creates a safe space where clients feel seen and supported as they move toward greater self-understanding and lasting connection.

Message to clients
Hi, I’m Lea Darido. I believe relationships are at the very core of human needs and existence. They shape who we are, how we see ourselves, and how we move through the world. When relationships feel unsafe or confusing, we often stay stuck — worrying whether we’re loved, accepted, or enough. My work is rooted in the belief that once we understand our attachment patterns and feel securely connected, something beautiful happens: we are finally free to roam, explore, and soar into our fullest selves. That’s why my approach goes far beyond managing symptoms. Using an attachment-based lens, I help you gently look beneath the surface — beyond the obvious arguments, distance, or pain — to make sense of what’s really happening in your relationships. Whether you’re an individual feeling stuck in repeating patterns, a couple longing to feel close again, or a parent trying to build stronger bonds with your child, I offer a warm, insightful space where real understanding and lasting change can begin. If you’re ready to stop cycling through the same struggles and start building more secure, fulfilling relationships, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. With warmth, Lea Darido, LMHC
