Lia Blady is an NYU trained psychotherapist who has completed over 40 hours of post-masters training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She specializes in helping individuals navigate life transitions, manage anxiety, and heal from developmental trauma. Before becoming a therapist, Lia spent almost a decade building a successful career on Wall Street, which has given her a deep understanding of the unique challenges that professionals in New York City face. For this reason, Lia offers flexible hours to accommodate the demanding schedules of her clients. Lia is passionate about helping her clients build fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Hi there! I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space for you to process your feelings and explore patterns. My main goals as a therapist are to help you feel less alone with your emotions and to help you discover what is at the root of your problems. I often work with smart and motivated individuals who feel unfulfilled or anxious despite having achieved various societal markers of success. In our work together, I can help you to navigate life's complexities, develop coping strategies, and build meaningful relationships with yourself and others. Whether you're dealing with relationship challenges, coping with grief, healing from childhood trauma, or processing pet loss, I am here to support you.
