About
Malory M. Lund, MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC, is the founder of Meaningful Musings Counseling PLLC and a licensed mental health counselor serving clients in Washington and Idaho, both in-person and online. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Washington University and brings an evidence-informed, relational approach to her work. Malory specializes in sex therapy, relationship concerns, attachment work, and life transitions. She is a Certified Sex Therapist through Modern Sex Therapy Institutes, Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional through the Integrative Sex Therapy Institute and a Kink Aware/Knowledgeable Professional with the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. Her practice is LGBTQIA+, kink-affirming, and strictly sex-positive, providing a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore complex topics with safety and support. Her clinical style blends compassion-focused therapy with attachment-based, existential, and mindfulness-informed practices, helping individuals and couples cultivate deeper connection, self-understanding, and authentic expression. Whether addressing communication challenges, mismatched desire, shame around sexuality, infidelity recovery, or broader identity and relational goals, Malory partners with clients to illuminate patterns and build skills for lasting growth and wellbeing. Clients often appreciate her warm, collaborative approach and her ability to hold complex emotional and relational experiences with care.

Message to clients
Do you feel there are aspects of your sexuality or sexual self that have gone unexplored, overlooked, or neglected? Are you grappling with dissatisfaction or frustration in your current relationship, navigating an affair, or contemplating separation or divorce? Although we are inundated with cultural messaging about sex and relationships, most of us were not given the tools that allow us to connect to our partners or granted the space or permission to freely explore the depths of our sexual selves. Let’s change that. You deserve to feel understood, valued, and unburdened by shame. You deserve fulfilling relationships and an authentic intimate life. I help individuals and couples develop and nurture skills related to communication, sex and intimacy. Together, we focus on developing skills, gaining insight, and strengthening connection in ways that feel intentional and sustainable. You’ll know our work is effective when you feel more grounded in yourself, confident, self-assured and more deeply connected to those closest to you. As an attachment-based, sex-positive, and LGBTQIA+ & Kink/BDSM/Poly affirming therapist, I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental therapy space. My clinical style is warm and compassionate. I believe you are the expert on yourself and your life. I will listen to understand, show sincere empathy, look for and validate your strengths, and work collaboratively with you.
