Michelle Nosrati's approach to therapy is warm, honest, and rooted in addressing the deeper sources of pain. She believes in a holistic view of healing that considers the full picture of her clients' experiences. Using a trauma-informed lens, she provides honest feedback, psychoeducation, and evidence-based treatments like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to help clients break free from old patterns and view themselves-and their world-with fresh eyes. Her journey as a therapist began after earning her Master's Degree and working at Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles, where she specialized in supporting survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, including both adults and children. During that time, she became certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), with a particular focus on helping children separate their identity from the abuse they experienced and begin their healing journey. After stepping away to focus on raising her two daughters, Michelle returned to her career with a renewed passion for helping people heal from trauma. This commitment led her to pursue certification as an EMDR therapist, allowing her to provide deeper, more transformative healing. As a lifelong learner, Michelle is always seeking to grow personally and professionally. Having navigated her own challenges and lessons, she understands how difficult the work of healing can be, as well as the discovery of one's potential and living authentically. This perspective fuels her passion for helping others along their journey. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, tending to her garden, exercising, and painting.
The people I work with are often driven by a desire for understanding and growth. They may have already gained insights from talk therapy into their trauma or behavior patterns but are looking to go deeper—connecting that knowledge to a true sense of safety and security in their lives.

Michelle is a highly skilled empathic therapist. She creates a safe, trusting environment by listening closely and reflecting the patient's thoughts and feelings. Through the practice of EMDR, among other modalities, Michelle successfully helps patients gain insight and achieve lasting change.
Michelle has proven to be an excellent combination of professionalism, compassion, and warmth in the much needed trauma therapy of EMDR. A few of her clients were sent to me after working with her to further develop skills for their specific challenges such as addiction and ADHD. All clients have spoken extremly high of her and her methodology. I hear she has a long waiting list... that should also be informative!
Michelle is a truly kind, compassionate, good hearted person. She has integrity, and she is a giver. I hold her in the highest regard.
