About Nicole | She/her

Nicole is a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in the treatment of trauma and anxiety through the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. Nicole goes beyond talk therapy to uncover the roots of anxious patterns, people pleasing behaviors and perfectionist tendencies to heal and help you grow into the confident, bada** person you want to be! Nicole believes that with a different approach like EMDR, can come deeper healing so you can stop just knowing logically the things you should be thinking, but so you can actually start feeling emotionally and believing in those things! Nicole has been in the mental health field for 10+ years and has extensive experience working with young adults, adults and teens navigating life changes, anxiety and difficult past life experiences that often create difficulties in relationships in the present. Nicole also has training in therapeutic modalities such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing (MI), solution focused techniques, client centered approaches and trauma focused approaches. Nicole’s number one priority is to meet you where you are at in your healing era and support you in whatever way is best for you.

Message to clients

Do you find yourself feeling hopelessly anxious about not being able to get past your perfectionism, no matter what you do? You’re someone who is hard working and insightful. But you still find yourself doubting yourself and the perfectionist voice in your head keeps you feeling anxious and on edge constantly. You struggle to feel good about yourself in relationships. But you’re ready to make a change! You’re ready to feel hopeful again and practice putting yourself first. You’re ready to learn control over your anxiety. Most of all you’re ready to believe in yourself, no matter what. I want to help you get there. I specialize serving hardworking young adults and adults struggling with anxiety, perfectionism and relationship issues. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who can help them get to the root of these issues because therapy should be a place where you feel safe and able to better understand yourself. Sessions with me incorporate both your mind and body, to feel whole. I’ll meet you where you are on your unique journey and offer you the support you need to understand where your anxiety comes from and find power over it. A life where believing in yourself is possible. You don’t have to continue to feel hopeless, and you don’t have to do it alone.
