Message to clients

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like no one really sees the complexity of what you're carrying—you’re not alone. Whether you're a parent trying to show up for your child while wrestling with your own past, an adult navigating the weight of trauma or disconnection, or someone whose neurodivergence has gone unseen for far too long—I see you. I specialize in helping people make sense of their experiences with compassion and clarity. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and deeply rooted in attachment science. Together, we’ll slow down and create space for your story—whether that means healing early wounds, breaking patterns that no longer serve you, or understanding parts of yourself that have felt confusing or hidden. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about creating a safe haven—a steady, attuned relationship where real change can unfold. I integrate evidence-based tools like EMDR, TF-CBT, and parent-child interventions with an emphasis on curiosity, cultural humility, and care. You don’t have to navigate this alone. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, depth, and clinical expertise, I’d be honored to walk with you.

Dr. Berg-Martinez is a wonderful blend of knowledge, experience, and compassion. She's always learning, and continues to grow herself, to become the best therapist she can be. And yet, she's incredibly humble, ethical, and safe. As a therapist who's picky about my referrals, I recommend her often, and without reservation.
