Samantha Potthoff, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and founder of the Therapy Collective of California. With nearly a decade of clinical experience, she specializes in helping individuals navigate emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and the pursuit of personal balance. Samantha holds a B.A. in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, where she developed a deep interest in the mind-body connection. Her early work in the medical field highlighted the intricate link between physical and mental health, inspiring her to earn an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In her therapeutic practice, Samantha employs a range of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic approaches.
